"On Silver Pond"

Just like in the movie On Golden Pond a big trout named Walter lives here. My record on the Pike River here in Northeastern Wisconsin is a 17” brook trout. Beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife, great fishing and lots of elbow room. What more could a person want? I have been doing a series of paintings in which the skies are the predominant feature. In this painting I did not make the sky prominent but rather its reflected light in the water.
