"Uncle Fred"

The Painting, "Uncle Fred" was painted as a companion piece to the painting, "Aunt Emma", which some of you may be familiar with. They were framed at the same time in identical gold frames.

They came about because I saw some old, old photographs in an antique shop and was impressed by the character in the faces of some of the by-gone generation. I was challenged to see if I could capture some of that with watercolor. Of course you have to be the judge.
